Dr. Jim & Lydia Ames

Dr. Jim Ames, originally from Fort Worth, Texas, met and married his wife, Lydia, while he was stationed in the Armed Forces in Zaragoza, Spain.
After graduating from Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 1982, Pastors Jim & Lydia moved to Dodge City, Kansas, where they pioneered Abundant Life Family Church. Today ALFC continues to thrive and minister to the whole family.
Pastors Jim & Lydia teach the Word of God with a practical simplicity that is useful for daily living. Together, they help believers learn how to live a victorious life of faith in God. Pastors Jim & Lydia have been married since 1977, and have two children, Jonathan & Joanna and four grandchildren.

Administrative Assistant
Amanda serves as the Administrative Assistant, coordinating the church’s business and activities. She is also involved in the youth ministry and serves on the Sunday morning Praise & Worship Team.
